Campfire creates an alternative reality campaign for audiences to immerse themselves in the world of True Blood, where vampires not only exist, but live openly alongside humans. The main portal is ARCHIVE.BLOODCOPY.COM , a site chronicling the vampire presence, run by a vampire. It contains over 28 videos, ranging from ads for new vampire-targeted products to new types of filmed entertainment to “viral” clips of vampires in daily life. Prior to the show’s season two premiere, Bloodcopy joins Gawker Media and its roster of lifestyle sites as further evidence that vampires have entered mainstream culture.
